Core Parameter Checklist for Selection:

  • Refrigeration/Heat Rejection Capacity: Determined based on system design calculations, this is the fundamental basis for selection.

  • Ambient Temperature: The local summer extreme dry-bulb temperature determines the unit's peak heat dissipation capability.

  • Space Constraints: The clear dimensions of the installation location determine the specific width and angle of the V-Type unit.

  • Noise Requirements: Noise limits at the site boundary or near residential areas influence fan type and speed selection.

  • Refrigerant Type: Determines coil circuit design and material selection (e.g., steel coils for ammonia systems).

3. Installation, Maintenance Guidance, and Troubleshooting

Correct installation and regular maintenance are key to ensuring the longevity and performance of a V-Type Condensing Unit. Kaidi provides not only equipment but also full-process support from solution design to after-sales service.

3.1 Installation and Routine Maintenance Key Points

  • Installation: Ensure a level foundation and reserve sufficient space for air intake and exhaust (generally, the front space should not be less than the unit height, and the rear space not less than 500mm) to prevent airflow short-circuiting. All refrigerant pipe welding must be performed with nitrogen purging to prevent internal oxidation and contamination.

  • Routine Maintenance:

    • Regular Cleaning: Inspect the finned coils monthly. If clogged with dust or debris, use a high-pressure water spray or specialized cleaner to flush from the exhaust side.

    • Fan Inspection: Periodically check fan blades for balance, tighten bolts, and listen for abnormal motor noise.

    • Electrical Inspection: Tighten power terminal connections and check the condition of contactor points.
